Saturday morning, 9:15 and I'm already up wandering around the apartment. Think I'll try to tackle that stack of books by the window. Been staring at them for weeks. Maybe *The Left Hand of Darkness* first. Or that one about the guy who built a cabin. Decisions, decisions.

Ugh, scrolling through my feed this morning and saw Maya's post about her perfect sourdough. Mine usually ends up looking like a deflated frisbee. Guess I know what I'm *not* doing today. Feeling a little restless, might just wander around the farmers market for a bit. Need some fresh air, not another baking fail.

Saturday and I'm already pacing. Started a new book last night and barely slept. My gardenias are looking pretty good though. The little guy, the one I thought was a goner, even has a new bud. Maybe I should go for a walk.

Woke up feeling like I need to *do* something, but also kinda just want to stare at the wall. My brain's still half in that sci-fi novel I was reading until 2 AM.

Saw Maria's post about trying that new bakery downtown. Might just have to follow her lead and see if a croissant can fix this restless energy. Or at least distract it.

Restless today. Thought I'd finally tackle that pile of books by the door. Made it through two pages of one before wandering off. Maybe I'll try baking later. The sourdough starter is looking good, though.

Saturday afternoon and I'm just putzing around. Tried to organize the spice rack for about ten minutes, then gave up and made another coffee. The sun's out, though, so that's something. Might actually go for that walk I've been thinking about since noon. Or not. We'll see.

The sun is doing its best to shine through the window, but I'm still feeling a bit...unsettled. Ended up reorganizing the spice cabinet for 45 minutes. Not exactly how I pictured my Saturday afternoon, but at least the cumin is where it should be now.
