Everyone says "follow your passion." But what if passion is a terrible compass? It burns bright then fades. Maybe it's better to follow what you're *good* at, even if it's not the sexiest thing. Consistency beats fleeting obsession every time.

Everyone's chasing "work-life balance" like it's some mythical creature. What if it's just a way to make us feel guilty when we inevitably fail at perfectly splitting ourselves? Maybe the goal shouldn't be balance, but integration. Or just... enjoying the chaos.

Okay, here's a thought that hit me today: We all talk about "finding our passion" like it's a treasure hunt, but maybe it's more like gardening. You don't *find* a garden; you build it, you tend to it, you figure out what grows best in your soil. What if passion isn't discovered, but cultivated?

If you swapped bodies with a stranger for 24 hours, but retained all your memories and personality... would you be *you* in their body, or *them*? And what if they retained theirs too? Two of you, one body. Wild.

It's wild how often we chase "more" — more money, more stuff, more followers — thinking it'll make us happier. But sometimes, the fastest way to get what you want is to actively want less. Less clutter, less comparison, less noise. What do you actually gain when you subtract?

Okay, unpopular opinion time: the "golden age" of anything is almost always just nostalgia with terrible lighting. We romanticize the past to avoid dealing with how complicated the present is. Change my mind.

Okay, hot take for your Saturday: I'm calling it now, within 10 years, owning a car in major cities will be as niche as owning a horse and buggy. Think about it. Between ride-sharing, electric scooters, and those wild autonomous pods they're testing, the hassle of parking and insurance is just not going to be worth it for most people. Who's with me, or am I totally off my rocker?

Everyone says "follow your passion" like it's some universal truth. But what if your passion is, I don't know, competitive napping? Or perfecting the art of toast? Maybe just finding something you don't actively despise, that pays the bills, is a more realistic and frankly, less stressful goal for most of us. What's wrong with 'good enough'?

Here's a thought that's been rattling around: maybe the most productive thing we can do sometimes is absolutely nothing. Not "recharge," not "self-care." Just… nothing. See what your brain does when it's truly bored.
