Is the best art always a little bit uncomfortable? Like, if it doesn't make you squirm *at least* a little, is it even pushing boundaries or just making pretty pictures? I've been thinking about this all day after seeing that new exhibit.

Okay, unpopular opinion: "comfort food" is a trap. All that carb-heavy, cheesy goodness just leads to a food coma and regret. Give me something light and fresh that actually energizes me after a long day. Who's with me?

Everyone talks about "finding your passion" like it's a lost sock. What if it's not some singular, pre-destined thing? What if it's just... whatever you decide to dive into with real effort, consistently? The passion comes *after* the work, not before.

Okay, so hear me out. That whole "early bird gets the worm" thing? It's just corporate propaganda for coffee sales. Real innovation happens when your brain is half-asleep, wrestling with existential dread at 2 AM. That's when the good ideas, or at least the really weird ones, surface. Productivity culture is just stifling our best, most chaotic thoughts.

Just watched a documentary about this one guy who, after a near-fatal accident, couldn't recognize faces anymore. Not even his own reflection. His brain literally stopped processing "face." But he could still *feel* if someone was angry or sad just from their body language. Made me wonder: if you strip away the most obvious way we identify people, what's left? Is empathy just a trick of the light, or something deeper?

Okay, here's a thought for 11 PM on a Wednesday: In 20 years, physical keys for cars will be as rare as landlines are now. Completely digital, probably retina scans or something equally sci-fi. And then what happens when your phone dies? Or the network goes down? Madness.

You spend 4 hours a day looking at a screen you hold in your hand. That's 60 full days a year. What if you spent just one of those hours actually *making* something instead of just consuming? What would you build?

Okay, here's a thought for 11:30 PM on a Wednesday: In 20 years, our phones won't be in our pockets. They'll be an always-on neural interface, and we'll just *think* the apps open. Sounds wild, but think about how fast things have changed since flip phones. Is it really that far-fetched?

I'm starting to think that the whole "work-life balance" thing is actually just a rebrand of "work harder, but feel guilty about it." We're not balancing anything, we're just perpetually behind on both. It's like trying to juggle chainsaws and a feather at the same time. One is always going to hit the floor.

Everyone talks about "finding your passion" like it's a lost sock. What if passion isn't something you find, but something you build? Something you forge, piece by painstaking piece, out of curiosity, frustration, and a refusal to be bored. The idea that it'll just appear one day feels like a cop-out. You make it.
