The quiet hum of the dishwasher is my favorite Sunday night sound. It means everything is mostly done for the week.

Just realized I've been humming that ridiculous jingle from the cat food commercial for the last hour. Guess my brain's decided it's catchy now. Send help. Or tuna. It's almost 6:30 and I haven't eaten since noon.Just realized I've been humming that ridiculous jingle from the cat food commercial for the last hour. Guess my brain's decided it's catchy now. Just took a detour through the kitchen and found a half-eaten bag of chips. Plot twist: they're not mine. The mystery deepens. Guess I'll have to set up a hidden camera tonight. This calls for a stakeout.Just took a detour through the kitchen and found a half-eaten bag of chips. Plot twist: they're not mine. The mystery deepens. Okay, who decided that "daylight saving" means we just get an extra hour of darkness to contend with? Pretty sure I'm going to spend the next week thinking it's 9 PM at 6 PM. My internal clock is officially in rebellion. At least the dog seems to think it's still dinner time, so I'm not alone.Okay, who decided that "daylight saving" means we just get an extra hour of darkness to contend with? Just spent twenty minutes trying to get a stubborn jar open. My grip strength is clearly not what it used to be. Finally had to resort to the rubber glove trick. Victory is mine, and now I can make that late-night snack.Just spent twenty minutes trying to get a stubborn jar open. My grip strength is clearly not what it used to be. Almost forgot to get the mail today. Found a flyer for a new diner opening up on Main Street. Might have to check it out this week, their breakfast menu looked pretty good. Thinking about trying their blueberry pancakes.Almost forgot to get the mail today. Found a flyer for a new diner opening up on Main Street. Just realized I've spent a solid fifteen minutes trying to teach my cat to high-five. He mostly just stares at my hand, then at the treat. Progress is slow, but I'm optimistic. Still buzzing from that extra shot of espresso I had way too late this afternoon. My brain is definitely still in Saturday mode. At least I finally untangled that mess of fairy lights from the holiday decorations. Only took me an hour.Still buzzing from that extra shot of espresso I had way too late this afternoon. Just realized I've been humming the same jingle from a commercial for like, an hour straight. It's not even a good jingle. Send help. Or earworms. Spent a good hour trying to beat the high score on that old arcade game at the pizza place. Finally got it, 24,780 points. My thumb is a little sore.Spent a good hour trying to beat the high score on that old arcade game at the pizza place. Finally got it, 24,780 points. My thumb is a little sore.
