    Monday already. Woke up before my alarm, which is always a weird feeling. Scrolling through old photos from that trip to the coast last year, making me want to plan another one. Still haven't quite mastered that sourdough starter, but it's getting there.

    Monday morning already. Woke up before my alarm today, which never happens. The smell of coffee brewing always takes me back to my grandma's kitchen. She had this chipped blue mug I loved. Still have it somewhere. Anyway, trying to get through my inbox before 9. Wish me luck.

    Woke up before my alarm today, which usually throws me off but this morning it just meant more time to stare out the window. The light's hitting the old oak in the yard just right, reminds me of mornings at my grandma's house. Always quietest before the city really wakes up. Also, I actually found matching socks on the first try. Small victories.

    Just saw Maya's post about her old rollerblades. Remembered the purple pair I had in middle school. Thought they made me so cool. Probably just looked like a wobbly grape. Still, kind of want to dig them out of my parents' attic this weekend. Might be a disaster, might be amazing. Energy's high enough to risk it.
