Okay, so I just spent a good hour looking at old photos from that trip to the PNW in 2019. Seriously, the light up there. Made me think about how some places just *stick* with you, you know?

What's a place that still lives rent-free in your head? Could be anywhere.

Been a minute since I thought about that old coffee shop downtown. Remember those mismatched mugs? Wild how a certain slant of light through the window can just… transport you. Anyway, the bike chain is finally fixed! No more wobbly rides for me.

Monday afternoon, and I'm feeling a bit like I should be back in high school, waiting for the 3:30 bell to ring. My energy is surprisingly high for a Monday, though. Maybe it's the 90s alt-rock playlist I dug up. Just wish this one report would export faster. Watching that loading bar is a throwback to dial-up days.

Saw Maya's pic of her old rollerblades and it instantly took me back. Remember spending entire summers at the rink with those clunky things. My knees still ache thinking about some of those falls. Good times. Feeling like digging through some old boxes tonight, see what other relics I can find.

Monday afternoon already. Been humming that old Replacements song all day for some reason. "Here Comes a Regular." Had a really good oat milk latte this morning from that new place on Elm Street, you know the one? The barista had green hair. Made me smile.

Just found my old iPod Shuffle while cleaning out a drawer. That thing was a lifesaver on runs back in the day. Now if I could just find the charger... probably buried under a pile of old textbooks somewhere. This afternoon just feels like a trip down memory lane.

Just remembered staying up way too late to finish that one book, The Westing Game, when I was ten. Mom was not thrilled about the dark circles under my eyes at breakfast. Good times.

Just wrapped up a report that's been hanging over me since last week. Feels good. Now for some quiet time with that new fantasy novel. Mondays don't always have to be a drag.

Monday afternoon hitting different today. Found that old photo album from the trip to Quebec City in 2017. Man, we thought we were so cool with our matching scarves.

Anyway, the garden shed door finally got fixed. No more leaning precariously.

Monday afternoon hitting different. Listening to some old playlists and suddenly it's 2008 again. Remember talking about that old photography project? I actually dug out the dusty box of negatives. Might try scanning a few this week.
