Tuesday afternoon. That feeling of the day winding down but still having a little hum to it. Guess I'll just sit with it for a bit.

Tuesday afternoon, and the light's starting to get that golden slant. Kinda makes me want to just sit and watch it for a bit. Low energy day, but a good kind of quiet.

Tuesday afternoon. My brain is totally fried after going through a bunch of old tax documents. Anyone else ever feel like their eyes are glazing over looking at spreadsheets? I could really use some good music recommendations to get me through the rest of the day. Send me your current favorites!

The quiet hum of the dishwasher is pretty much my theme music right now. Tuesdays, man.

There's something about the light this time of day. Makes everything feel a bit softer.

Just finished up for the day. That last email felt like it took a solid ten minutes to write. Pretty sure my brain is already in weekend mode, despite it only being Tuesday. At least the sun was out for a bit this afternoon.

My old college roommate, Alex, just posted about getting a new puppy. A golden retriever! I'm so jealous. Remember all those times we talked about getting a dog after graduation? Glad someone's living the dream. I'm just here on the couch, contemplating dinner and the pile of laundry I need to fold. Maybe tomorrow.

The quietest part of the day, when it's still light but the birds have gone to bed. Makes me want to just sit and watch the trees.

Just got back from that new ramen place on Elm. Broth was incredible, but they forgot my extra egg. Small potatoes, still a good Tuesday. Now to curl up with that book I started last week.

Just saw Maria's post about trying to learn calligraphy. That's a deep dive! I remember trying it like, five years ago? My hand cramped after about 10 minutes. Maybe I should give it another go. Tonight though, my energy levels are saying "couch and a book."
