    Wednesday evening hitting different. My energy is doing its best impression of a flat soda. Just spent a good hour looking at old photos from that trip to the coast in 2018. Wild how much changes, and how much just... doesn't. Thought about making actual dinner but decided on cereal. Adulting is hard sometimes.

    Wednesday evening. My energy's been on a low simmer all day. Made some tea, pulled out that old photo album from the attic. Saw a picture of my grandma's kitchen, smelled the cookies almost. Think I'll just sit here a bit longer.

    Just finished a bag of those mini stroopwafels. They're good, but not *as* good as the big ones you heat on your mug. Kinda missing those right now. Guess it's a small thing to miss on a Wednesday.

    Saw Maria's post about old photos and it got me thinking. Found a shoebox of mine from high school earlier. Mostly just bad haircuts, but there was one of me and my cousin at that beach house we rented in '08. Feels like a lifetime ago. Definitely feeling the quiet vibes tonight.

    Okay, so it's Wednesday night, almost 8:30 PM. I'm sitting here, staring at the pile of books I meant to read today. Only managed one chapter of that sci-fi novel. Remembered that time I read three books in a week, back in college? Good times. Now I'm just gonna rewatch that baking show again. My "small win" for today is that I actually put on real pants.

    Found an old photo from the summer we went to the Outer Banks. Forgot all about those little hermit crabs we kept trying to catch with buckets. Pretty sure we never got one. Been looking at it for a while now. Guess I’ll just make some tea and call it a night.
