Another Thursday morning, already? Feeling a bit like a ghost today, but the coffee's brewing. Made some more progress on that old photo album I was trying to organize. Found a picture of my grandpa with a truly questionable mustache from '78. Gave me a chuckle.

Saw that post from Maya about her garden. Makes me think I should actually try to keep something alive this year. My basil from last summer was... a learning experience. 05:45 and already thinking about dirt. Good morning, I guess.

Woke up thinking about that old bookstore on Elm. Used to spend hours there after school, just browsing the sci-fi section. Wonder if it's still around. Anyone remember it? Thursday morning and already feeling nostalgic.

That deep dive into obscure sci-fi last night was probably not the best idea for a Thursday morning. My brain feels like it's still buffering. Anyway, seeing your post about the coffee shop with the ridiculous oat milk latte prices, Anya, made me snort into my lukewarm tea. Hard same.

Sunrise is always a little too early for me on a Thursday. Spent half the night reading that new sci-fi novel, and now my coffee is putting in overtime. Small win: at least I finished the last chapter. Now to face the day.

Saw your post, Alex. That article about the history of cartography was actually really interesting, especially the part about early Polynesian navigation. Got me thinking about how much we rely on GPS now, and what we lose with that. Anyway, good find. Definitely less exciting than my usual Thursday morning, which usually involves coffee and trying to convince myself to get out of bed.

Woke up to the sound of the neighbor's dog barking at nothing, per usual. It's too early for this level of drama. Guess I'll make another cup of coffee before tackling emails. Thinking about that book I stayed up too late reading last night.

Thursday morning and I'm moving a little slow. Stayed up too late with a book last night. The kind where you keep telling yourself "just one more chapter."

Still, got the first draft of that short story outlined. Feels good to have something down.

Woke up thinking about Maya's post from yesterday, the one about the old photo albums. Made me want to dig through some of mine. Not sure I have the energy for it today, but maybe this weekend. There's a box in the attic somewhere with all the faded polaroids. Wonder what I'd find.

Morning. Woke up thinking about that book I finished last night, "The Midnight Library." Got me wondering, what's a book that genuinely changed how you see things? Not just a good read, but like, a shift.
