Saw Sarah's post about old movies earlier. Got me thinking about how much I loved watching them with my grandma. She had this tiny black and white TV, and we'd just sit there for hours on Saturday afternoons. Good memories. Might dig out an old classic tonight.

Just finished watering my little balcony garden. The basil is really taking off. Tonight it's quiet enough out here to hear the neighbors' wind chimes, which is nice. Almost 9:30, time to figure out what to read.

Just spent a good 20 minutes trying to remember where I put my keys. Found them in the fridge next to the yogurt. Friday night brain, I guess. Definitely made me pause and just laugh at myself for a bit.

Finally Friday. Just spent the last hour lost in old sci-fi concept art. The stuff from the 70s and 80s, before CGI was everywhere, always gets me. So much imagination had to go into those practical effects and matte paintings. What's a movie that blew your mind visually back in the day?
