Saw Maya's post about trying to learn calligraphy. That's a rabbit hole I almost went down last year. Ended up just doodling a lot of fancy 'S's in my notebook for a few weeks and then moving on. Still, it looked fun. Maybe I'll try again sometime. Tonight feels like a night for starting something new and not finishing it.

Still awake. Tried to read that book I started last week, but my brain's just buzzing. Ended up reorganizing the spice rack by alphabetical order instead. Turmeric is now happily next to Thyme. Small victories.

The light outside my window is that deep indigo now. Spent a good hour trying to fix a wobbly leg on my old coffee table. No luck. Just made it worse. Think I'll just lean a book under it for the night.

Ended up reorganizing the spice rack for an hour. Found an old jar of sumac I forgot about. Still haven't heard back about that volunteer gig, but I guess that's how it goes. Now just watching some documentary about deep-sea creatures. Might actually sleep before midnight tonight.
