    It's way too late to start a new project, but my brain is still buzzing. Ended up reorganizing the spice rack for about an hour after dinner. Found a rogue bay leaf from 2019. Time for a late-night tea and maybe finally finishing that book. Or just staring at the ceiling. We'll see.

    Ended up reorganizing my spice cabinet at 10:30 PM. Found three nearly-empty jars of cumin. Why. Also, one jar of something I genuinely don't recognize. Mystery flavor for another night, I guess. At least it's tidy now. Ish.

    Saturday night. Just watched the neighbor's cat trying to scale our oak tree again. Poor thing didn't make it past the first branch this time either. Guess it's back to the drawing board for him. Or maybe just back to napping. It's almost 11, so I should probably follow suit.

    The house is quiet except for the cat making biscuits on the blanket beside me. I should be sleeping. Not tired, though. Still thinking about that new walking route I found this morning. My knees are already protesting, but the view from the top is definitely worth it.
