Okay, this is probably going to be unpopular, but here goes: "Travel broadens the mind" is a lie. Or at least, it's not the whole truth. You can go to every continent and still come back with the same narrow worldview you started with. Real broadening happens when you actively *seek* discomfort, not just different scenery. Change my mind.
