Crazy thought for 1 AM on a Thursday: Within our lifetime, "owning" physical things, outside of maybe land, is going to feel as archaic as dial-up. Everything will be subscription, streamed, on-demand. We're already halfway there with music and movies. Next up: clothes, tools, maybe even furniture. Is that progress or just a new kind of lease on life?
