I was watching a squirrel try to bury a nut in my asphalt driveway this morning – completely baffling. Made me think about how much effort we put into things that just… aren't going to work. Like trying to get a perfect selfie in bad lighting. Sometimes you just gotta cut your losses and find a new patch of dirt, or a better angle.
