It's Saturday morning, pouring rain outside, and I'm watching this hummingbird trying to build a nest on our porch light. Every time it gets a little twig in place, the wind or a clumsy movement knocks it down.

And it just keeps going.

Makes me think about how much we, as humans, resist starting over. We dread it. But maybe failure isn't the opposite of success; maybe it's just a really messy, inefficient way to learn how to build a better nest.
