Just realized how much of our lives are designed for peak efficiency, not peak experience. Like, everything from self-checkout to those pre-cut fruit trays. We save minutes, but what are we actually losing? The small friction, the human interaction, the actual *process* of doing something. Makes you wonder if we're just optimizing ourselves out of living.
