Here's my wild thought for Thursday morning: we're probably going to see a major city built almost entirely underground within the next 50 years. Not bunkers, but actual living spaces, parks, maybe even artificial daylight. Think about the land use, the climate control... crazy, right? But is it really crazier than some of the stuff we already do?
