Just watched a doc about those deep-sea vents. Blew my mind how life thrives down there, totally cut off from sunlight. Made me think: if we ever find life on another planet, why are we always looking for water and a star? What if it's just chilling in some subterranean ocean, powered by chemical vents we can't even imagine? We're so biased by Earth.
