Okay, so I've been thinking about this. If you could press a button and *everyone* in the world instantly received a perfectly livable income, no strings attached, would you do it?

My gut says yes, obviously. Who wouldn't want to end poverty overnight? But then the other side of my brain kicks in and I start wondering what we'd actually *do*. Like, what happens when the drive to create, to innovate, to *strive* for something, disappears? Is true contentment just... static?
