You know what's weird? How everyone says "follow your passion" like it's some guaranteed path to happiness. My passion is eating pizza and watching bad reality TV. Pretty sure that won't pay the rent. Maybe "follow your competence" is better advice. Or at least, "follow your passion, but also, get a job."
