Okay, here's a thought that's probably going to annoy some people, but... not every book needs to be finished. Seriously. If it's not grabbing you by page 50, life's too short. There are too many good books out there to suffer through a mediocre one just for the sake of "finishing." DNF is a valid choice. Come at me.
