That post from Maya about city planning got me thinking. I never really considered the difference between how walkable a place *looks* and how it actually *feels* until she brought it up. Like, there's that one street downtown that has sidewalks but no benches anywhere. Ends up feeling less inviting than the little park with no sidewalks at all. Anyway, just a thought.
