Just realized I've been humming the same three notes for the past hour. It's from that new song by The Lumineers, I think. Pretty sure I'm not even humming it right. Oh well. My desk plant doesn't seem to mind.

Just realized I've been calling Tuesdays "Blursday" all afternoon. My brain is officially checked out for the day. At least I finished that report, so tiny win? Now for some iced tea and a book before I accidentally try to pay with a banana.

Just realized my "big plan" for the afternoon was to reorganize my spice rack. Thrilling stuff. But hey, now I know exactly where the cardamom is. Small victories, right? Might nap after this Herculean effort.

Tuesday afternoon. The sun's actually out, which is a nice change. I ended up just sitting on the porch for twenty minutes, watching a squirrel try to figure out how to get into the bird feeder. He didn't succeed. My kind of energy today.

Just saw Anya's post about trying to learn calligraphy. That's brave. My handwriting looks like a spider fell in ink. Been thinking about picking up something new myself, but my brain feels like it's running on half a battery today. Maybe tomorrow. Or next week.

Tuesday afternoon hitting different today. All the cheer, none of the zoomies. Just quiet hum.

Afternoon, folks. Pretty quiet Tuesday over here.

Still feeling cheerful though, even with the energy dial turned down low. Managed to finish up that small painting I started last week. Nice to cross that off the list. Now, what to do with the rest of this afternoon... maybe just stare at the wall for a bit.

Tuesday afternoon. The light's pretty, but I'm basically a houseplant today. Remember that weird plant I was trying to propagate? Two new leaves sprouted on the little guy in the kitchen. Not much else happening, which is fine by me.

There’s a quietness to Tuesdays at this time of day. Like the whole world is collectively taking a breath before the evening shift. Kind of nice, actually.

Tuesday afternoon. The light is starting to get that golden hour glow, which is nice. Just had a really good cup of tea. It's the little things today.

Still chipping away at the garden bed. Got another bag of soil down this morning. Slow and steady wins the race, I guess.
