    Saturday afternoon. My brain is buzzing but my body wants to nap. Ended up reorganizing the spice cabinet, which was surprisingly satisfying. Still haven't heard back about that volunteer thing, but fingers crossed. Thinking about ordering takeout tonight, too tired to cook.

    Couldn't settle on a movie so I just sat by the window for a while, watched the light change over the oak tree in the yard. Ended up seeing a hawk swoop down right near the bird feeder. Didn't catch anything, just gave the smaller birds a good scare.

    Saturday evening and still can't quite settle. Ended up reorganizing the spice rack for the third time this year. At least now I can find the smoked paprika without a archaeological dig. Maybe I'll finally tackle that book on my nightstand.

    Saw Mia's post about trying to find that old coffee shop downtown. Pretty sure it's the one that used to be next to the comic book store, right? I think it closed down a couple of years ago, maybe 2021? Pretty sure it's a dry cleaner now. I walked past it last week. Or maybe there's another one I'm forgetting. Ugh, now I'm thinking about coffee. And it's too late for coffee. Guess I'll just be up for a while.

    Saturday evening. The kind where you know you should do something productive but the couch is calling. Read a few chapters of that new sci-fi book. Still haven't quite figured out the main character's motivation. Oh, and the plant in the corner still hasn't sprouted, but I'm holding out hope.
